Welcome! I’m Marg, the founding principal of Me My Strengths and I.
I help professionals and organisations perform at their best by strengthening mindset, wellbeing and capacity that creates sustainable impact.
Driven by curiosity and a deep desire to create positive change, I've spent over 30 years working in arts and cultural development, as an artist, community facilitator, arts manager, and leader in policy and strategy. This work has always been my passion.
My journey into leadership sparked a new passion and a deep interest in positive psychology, leading me to study how we can all thrive. I blend positive psychology approaches with Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Hypnosis, and Time Line Therapy, to empower my clients to flourish, whether at work, home, or in life’s adventures.
Outside the office, I enjoy singing and playing the mandolin on community radio, creating art, sewing quilts, and designing my garden and life using permaculture principles.

This 6-month, one to one, coaching program assists leaders wanting to take their leadership to the next level, or assists those wanting to progress their careers into leadership positions. Marg walks alongside leaders as they explore:

Shift: From unconscious reaction to conscious self-leadership.
Leaders gain a clear, evidence-based understanding of their strengths and skills, emotional intelligence patterns, current wellbeing and nervous system capacity, and unpack the patterns that are currently driving them.
L – Leadership Identity
Shift: From accidental leadership to intentional leadership.
Leaders clarify how they are currently framing leadership, explore what kind of leader they want to be, elicit their own unique leadership values, and develop their strengths to shape their style.
I – Intentional Influence
Shift: From managing tasks to influencing people.
Leaders learn to regulate emotional responses, read the emotional climate in teams, adapt communication styles and conduct courageous, generative conversations
G – Growth in Energy & Capability
Shift: From depletion to sustainable performance.
Through Work on Wellbeing and nervous system awareness, leaders build sustainable work rhythms, reduce burnout risk for themselves and their teams, strengthen resilience under pressure and learn recovery strategies.
N – Navigating Complexity
Shift: From firefighting to grounded strategic leadership.
Leaders apply everything to real team challenges and stakeholder pressure, work with strengths to develop their teams, and develop strong, strategic goals for the next 6 months.

WHAT IS A STRENGTH?
A strength is something we perform well at, is energising and we do often.
Using our strengths regularly helps us to maintain focus on what matters to us and to show up as our best self.
At Me My Strengths and I we utilise the Skills Discovery Tool (previously called Strengths Profile), considered to be the most robust and validated strengths tool today.
It assesses 80 skills across the dimensions of energy, performance and use.
Research show that using our strengths makes us happier, confident and able to achieve our goals. We become motivated, engaged and productive. We learn fast, increase performance and do our best everyday.

But why measure our wellbeing?
We regularly track various aspects of our physical health, such as our steps, calories, waistlines, and cholesterol levels .Yet measuring our psychological wellbeing hasn’t always been part of the conversation.
It’s time to change that.
I like to think of the WoW session as an annual tune-up for our wellbeing, much like a car service.
It's a chance to check in, reflect, and set clear intentions for our mental, physical and emotional health.
Our wellbeing isn’t just important for ourselves—it directly impacts our productivity, relationships with family, and our contributions to the community.
